How long has the preschool been here?
Preschool opened in 1972 as a one unit preschool and was later extended to include a second room. 
Is this a private preschool?
No. This preschool is a not for profit community based preschool funded by the state government. All monies raised are put directly back into the centre to fund improvements and educational programs for the children.
There are NO share holders. 
What will my child get out of preschool?
The centre offers a child centered program  designed to celebrate each child's individuality and uniqueness. Children's learning is visible and documented in a profile format.
Children are empowered to take control of their own learning supported by highly skilled and suitably qualified teaching staff.
Children learn to cooperate and work collaboratively with their peers. 
Children will be challenged physically in a playground which invites discovery and exploration. 
Large and small group activities provide the children with an opportunity to explore language, music, literacy and science.
 
How can families be involved in the centre?
The centre is managed by parent body called the management committee.
The centre has a strong focus on father inclusive practices and provides a boys in education program.
Mums and Dads are invited to spend a day with their child during terms 2 and 3. 
Mums and Dads are involved in the maintenance  of the centre, i.e. mowing lawns, gardening, repairing equipment etc.
